What is it? A drying set cut long through the body for dachshunds, which standard dog robes are not. Standard robes are proportioned for a shorter back, so on a dachshund they either drown the dog or leave half the back exposed. This one goes on over the head and fastens under the chest, so the back half doesn't stay wet.
What do I get? Choose the Bathrobe on its own, the Blinder (padded eye cover) on its own, a single Shoe, or the Full Set — bathrobe, blinder and shoe together, at less than buying the three separately.
What size do I need? Three sizes: S, M and L. Measure along the back, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail — standard and miniature dachshunds differ a lot. If you're between sizes, go up. The robe should wrap, not stretch.
Does it stay on? Yes. It fastens at the neck and under the chest, so it stays put through the shake. Supervise pets that chew, and take it off before they're left alone.
How do I wash it? Cotton and fleece. Machine wash at 30°C, air dry. No bleach, no tumble dryer.
