The Air Jordan 9 GS “Chile Red” is the youth sizing of the red-based makeup of Michael Jordan’s ninth signature shoe that was released in February 2022. The Air Jordan 9, a shoe that Jordan wore briefly not with the Chicago Bulls, but later during his time with the Washington Wizards, receives a predominantly all-red treatment on the “Chile Red” colorway. The upper of the shoe is constructed of bright red suede. Both the mudguard and heel appear in shiny red patent leather. The black eyelets contrast the Chile Red-colored rope laces and mesh tongue. Classic “23” branding is embroidered in black on the heel beneath a globe logo. A red Jumpman is found on the side of the black rubber midsole. Release date: February 25, 2022
