Launch Week brings together four blends that show the range of Da LBI Tea, from a malty morning black tea to a caffeine-free rooibos for the evening. Each is loose leaf, measured for a proper pot, and chosen from our collection of dozens of uncommon blends.
- The Library: a malty Assam black tea with notes of buttered toast, brown bread and almond. It takes milk well.
- Dark Iris: a peach oolong tea with pistachio and rose, tasting of peach, crème fraîche, iris and lime blossom. Excellent hot or cold brewed.
- Tangerine Dream: a vanilla orange green tea with spiced orange and vanilla.
- Silent Night: a caffeine-free chocolate rooibos with chocolate ganache, nutmeg and shortbread.
Every blend comes in a 15-cup bag ($14.99) and a 70-cup bag ($44.99, about 64¢ a cup), with 4-cup samples for tasting first.
