Golden Arrow is a strong, smoky breakfast tea built on three black teas: malty Assam, rich Yunnan and a measure of Taiwanese lapsang souchong for campfire depth. Burnt-toffee and walnut notes ride on top. It is for people who find English Breakfast a little polite, and it turns into crème brûlée the moment you add milk.
Tastes like: burnt sugar, walnut, mahogany, a wisp of smoke. Excellent iced for an intense take on classic iced tea.
How to brew: 1 teaspoon per 8 oz cup, water just off the boil (205–212°F), steep 3–4 minutes. Takes milk well. For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice.
